Julie Culligan - Scottish Artist

I am a Scottish artist working mostly in acrylics as I love the vibrancy and colour. I like to vary what I paint between contemporary landscapes, portraits and more abstract subjects. Painting is relaxing and totally absorbing for me, I often find myself out in the studio as it gets dark around me.

I started, or should I say re-started, painting in my fifties. Before that balancing my professional career in IT consulting with my family didn't leave a lot of spare time for hobbies. I am now retired and able to devote more time to it.
